We have now made it to the 17th weekly update and there is no end in sight. Let me think about what happened this week.
Let’s start with my job situation. I found job offers again this week and applied asap for them. As a freelancer, I also made a few offers again, let’s see what happens to them.
As before, I don’t believe that there will be a chance to get a job this year, as people in the media industry are still mostly on short-time work. If you have employees on short-time work, you are not allowed to hire as a company.
Speaking of companies – I’m currently restructuring mine a bit. I will completely give up my services that have to do with music. This affects my music labels and DJing.
The latter was already on hold, but now it’s officially canceled.
On the technical side, I’m also downsizing. My server in Nuremberg will be shut down at the end of the month, the website wenzlikmedia.com will be shut down too, and my services will in future be displayed on danielwenzlik.com.
The websites iamvanay.com, bi-bahnhalt.de, wenzlik.net and dionaeashop.com have already been taken offline and given up.
Since I need hosting for danielwenzlik.com and der-verschwoerer.de, I ended up back with the host I trust, one.com (affiliate link). I will host all websites there in the future.
Be sure to stop by Der Verschwörer, I have “revealed” something really big this week, otherwise stay healthy and at home.
Oh wait, one more thing: Why the hell does everyone have to go on vacation in a global pandemic that is killing people, where at the beginning of the year they had been home for months instead of work? Due to my professional situation, I currently have plenty of time to trample through the world, will I? No. But maybe I just attach too much intelligence to humanity.
As a German, it doesn’t kill you if you don’t get drunk for a year in Mallorca and pester the locals and see their women as hunting ground! Just a train of thought. I know we Germans are very inflexible when it comes to that, but after all, we don’t dance outside when it’s raining radioactive fallout from a nuclear explosion, right? RIGHT?!
