The year 2020 is over and 2021 has started. What will change for me this year? A short timetable.
It was a quiet New Year’s Eve this year. Due to Covid-19, there was hardly any celebration and congratulations at Midnight were left to your own household. At least I’m happy that 2020 is a thing of the past and I’m a lot smarter again now.
For many people, a new year means new year’s resolutions such as exercise, weight loss and attitudes that you may hold out until February and then fall back into your old behavior. That’s why I’m not planning anything. I am creating a timetable. With facts.
Fact: This year I will switch back to the small business regulation with my side business. This has the disadvantage that I don’t get any paid tax refunded and I am not allowed to add it on invoices, but the bookkeeping becomes a lot easier.
Fact: I’m finishing my training and will be a certified Linux administrator in April. This opens up new opportunities for me in terms of jobs and the option of new areas of responsibility and services for my side business.
Fact: As soon as the indoor pool in Velden reopens and I have been vaccinated, I will go swimming twice a week for the sake of my back. That was actually planned for 2020, but Covid-19 intervened. Since I too belong to the risk group of fat high blood pressure patients, I didn’t want to take any risks last year. Hospitals are only beautiful to look at from the outside.
Fact: In 2021 I’ll be releasing between 5 and 10 new songs under my artist name VANAY, 3 of which are already finished or in production. All of these songs will be with vocals, so singing (or rap 😉).
I wish my friends, family and business partners a great, successful and healthy year 2021 and that we can meet a little more often this year again.
Now it’s back to learning. I’ll publish a new Post for the weekly update #034 on Sunday. Until then, stay safe and damn it stay at home!
